Dear all,

After the success of the 1st Congress in 2006 in Paris, the ELA Research Foundation, non-profit charitable institution devoted to promote research in the field of leukodystrophies and myelin diseases through research programs and educational projects, is pleased to announce the organization of the 2nd ELA Research Foundation Congress entitled “Therapeutic challenge in white matter diseases” from June 26 to 27, 2009 in the city of Luxembourg, Luxembourg.

The Scientific Committee of the Congress has put together an outstanding program that will bring together leading international experts in leukodystrophies, myelin biology, neuroimaging, stem cell research and gene therapy to share and discuss recent advances and cutting-edge science in these fields with the ultimate goal to fight and eventually find a cure for the disabling leukodystrophies and myelin diseases.

To fulfill its mission in fostering trainees and young investigators in the field, the ELA Research Foundation once again commits to offer their registration fees thus allowing them to interact with their scientific peers. Few other congresses give such opportunities.

We invite you to submit your latest research for presentation and to join us for this important congress.

We look forward to welcoming you in Luxembourg!
